40 Years of Development in Rock Hill: J.M. Cope’s Ongoing Commitment to Local Growth

For 40 years, J.M. Cope has been dedicated to bringing transformative development to Rock Hill, and it’s always a privilege to contribute to the growth of our hometown. Notable recent projects include the Dunbar Place Apartments, where we celebrated the milestone of placing the roof on this building, developed in partnership with DreamKey Partners. As this project unfolds in the heart of our headquarters’ community, we take great pride in contributing to Rock Hill’s continued development and vibrancy.

Another significant contribution is the Affinity Health Center, a 28,500 square-foot community health facility in Rock Hill. This new construction includes family practice, pediatric care, women’s services, dental facilities, a pharmacy, and a laboratory, with a noteworthy 23% MWSBE subcontractor participation—an achievement of which we are especially proud. Our team is always excited to engage in healthcare projects that directly benefit the community, reflecting our commitment to enhancing local services and infrastructure.

J.M. Cope’s involvement extends beyond these projects to significant events and collaborations, such as our recent platinum sponsorship of Clinton College’s 1894 Luncheon. We’ve had the honor of working with Clinton College on several projects, including the recently completed ACE Building, managed by Amy Fusaro.

Additionally, our work on the Lowenstein Building and the adjoining 1939 building as part of the University Center renovations further showcases our dedication to preserving and enhancing Rock Hill’s historic and educational landmarks. With over 40 years of service, J.M. Cope continues to be a cornerstone in the development of Rock Hill, driven by our commitment to excellence and community impact.
