Prequalification Due Date: January 20, 2026 at 5 pm

The project scope of work includes the new construction of a 87,156 SF building situated on a 29-acre green site located at 218 Parkertown Rd. Mooresville, NC 28115. In response to the expected growth the new Parkertown Elementary School is designed to accommodate 700 students, with core functions designed to accommodate 900 students.  


Onsite Sitework components include minor site demolition, clearing, erosion control, mass excavation, grading, stormwater, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, pavement markings & signage, concrete paving & sidewalks, fencing, playground equipment, landscape, domestic water, and private septic system. Offsite roadway improvements, signalization, and the extension of a main water line is included in the project scope. The structure, a combination of load bearing masonry and structural steel will be enclosed with a blend of brick veneer, metal wall panels, storefront, & curtainwall and standing seam metal roof accompanied by a PVC Roof over the kitchen and various prefabricated / pre-engineered aluminum canopies around the building. The project also features a full-service kitchen with two serving lines, a platform stage, media center, gymnasium, music rooms, art room, thirty-one classrooms, team rooms, and an administrative wing conditioned with a four-pipe chiller and boiler system.
