The original plan for this project involved a group of volunteers who would frame and wire the project after J.M. Cope completed the floor slab. When the volunteer group was unable to complete the work as planned, our company stepped in to complete the framing, wiring, and a significant amount of site work that was also outside our original scope of work. The project involved significant coordination with volunteers from the church. The original contract amount of $1.2 Million was increased by $280,000 because of significant changes to several areas of work. J.M. Cope worked very closely to assist Carolinas Cornerstone with up-to-the-minute accounting and projected costs to complete the project.
“[J.M.] Cope Construction maintained their professional commitment and patience with us, at all times. They could not have been any more helpful and concerned for the best interest of our new building and church family.”
-Mr. Barry Yates, Senior Pastor, Carolinas Cornerstone
