The project is 5,400 SF new construction for the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office. The structure is a slab on grade foundation with CMU and wooden interior partitions. The exterior will consist of fiber cement siding with cultured stone accents and a shingled roof. The heating and cooling will consist of several split units, radiant heaters, and exhaust fans. The back half of the building is being built to house the owner provided racking system for all of the evidence storage. The building will house all of the Sheriff’s Evidence Techs and will provide a space for them to tag, process, and store evidence for all of their cases.
