J.M. Cope ranked 4thamong the 17 companies honored, a direct reflection of the measured growth J.M. Cope has experienced over the last several years.
Our second-generation company has grown from a $20M annual company in 2013 to over $72M in 2018 primarily because the firm’s work is centered around facilities that help communities grow — such as churches, office buildings, schools, medical facilities, and municipal buildings — so as surrounding cities like Charlotte and Columbia grow, so does J.M. Cope.
High profile projects that have led to both company and community growth include the Lowenstein Building renovation and Rock Hill Sports and Event Center in Knowledge Park. These key projects in the high-profile redevelopment of Rock Hill’s former industrial core continue to highlight J.M. Cope’s role as an important community partner.
